Get It Done Website Work

Many small business owners need website work done, but don’t have the time or money to hire a pro.  I provide fast, effective websites and other general digital services including teaching you how to handle maintenance yourself and basic AI training, making it fast & easy for you. This is a part-time retirement thing I offer, not the main part of my life.

Shepard Humphries Get It Done Website Design

I am not an actual pro.  I have built over a dozen websites using WordPress, and I know some basics.  If you have a budget of $5,000 to $10,000 and are not in a hurry, I strongly suggest having an actual pro do it. I turn to professionals for all of my more complex needs.

I am a great choice for you if you are a “get it done” kind of person who isn’t looking for complex or  fancy.

The process

I ask you questions, get a dozen photos from you and then I start getting things done. If you like, I will sit with you and help you learn to do the basics.

I can also help with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), basic graphic design, getting social media accounts set up, etc.

Get It Done Website design in Jackson Hole

Website design and digital marketing are side-hustles for me, not my real job.  I am 100% self-taught.  The excellent pros are very expensive and are not very fast.

I can probably make time for us to get a good start tomorrow.  I am expensive and not as well-versed as the professionals, however I am better than them at teaching you how to maintain your own site.

I built the site you are on right now, and here are a couple others I maintain:

If you are impressed with any of these, I suggest that you raise your standard for being impressed.  lol  I am simply a frugal (tightwad) guy who has scraped the surface of this interwebs stuff so that I can do 90% of my own work.

My time is worth $150/hr and I love to barter. I also require that your website have links to my sites and projects.

Pro Bono Web Development Terms (Nonprofit)

Quick vibe check: I’m a practical, self-taught WordPress tinkerer. I do not have a computer science degree. I use proven, sometimes-old tools. I’m solid on the easiest seventy percent of common website tasks. Occasionally I may break something. If that happens, you may need a more advanced developer to fix it. (Yep, I’m saying that out loud. LOL.)

Reference Rate (Transparency Only)

My normal retail rate for comparable work is $150 per hour (a reference figure for transparency and internal documentation only). This is not an invoice and not a request for payment.

Tax note: In the U.S., donors generally cannot deduct the value of donated services or time. If you have tax questions, consult your tax professional.
